What do I get by joining?
People joining Anglian Potters do so for many different reasons - to buy clay, see demonstrations, exhibit their work, learn more from fellow members. Click more information for a more detailed look at the benefits of joining.
Who can join?
Anyone can join. People often assume that they need to be an expert
before they can join. Infact, Anglian Potters offers something for everyone, whatever their skill and experience level.
We have members who are just starting out in evening classes, members who are setting up their first studios and members
who are professional potters, exhibiting internationally.
For example, demonstration days are a chance for beginners and professional potters alike
to learn something by watching, listening and asking questions. Demonstrators are always enthusiastic, inspirational and
free with advice. It is exciting to discover that there is no 'right' way to make ceramics - everyone has their
own approach, methods, tips and techniques.
Alternatively, membership might be a first step to exhibiting and selling work through our open exhibitions. Those more serious still
about making can apply for selected membership.
