Pat Armstrong
- After completing a degree course at Sunderland School of
Art and Design in 1990, I set up a studio at my home just outside Stamford,
Lincolnshire.
- My work has developed from burnished, sawdust fired forms
toward an exploration of the raku technique. I am probably best known for my
work with high copper lustre raku.
- My pots are all thrown, mostly classical in shape, and
lend themselves to the spontaneous patterning of raku crackle glazes and the
use of lustres. Visitors are welcome at my studio - but a telephone call first
would be appreciated.
